Case Study
Conduit & Duct Bank Installation
Large-scale conduit and duct bank installation for a network infrastructure upgrade
Overview
T&O Underground completed a large-scale conduit and duct bank installation for a network infrastructure owner upgrading their backbone capacity. The project spanned a mixed commercial and residential corridor and included multiple conduit runs, vault and handhole placement, compaction testing, and asphalt restoration.
The Challenge
Duct bank work in mixed-use corridors requires careful coordination with local utilities, municipalities, and property owners. Maintaining traffic flow, protecting existing infrastructure, and meeting compaction and restoration specifications across varying pavement types added complexity at every stage.
Our Approach
Our team worked closely with the client's engineering team to sequence work efficiently and minimize corridor disruption. Compaction testing was conducted at required intervals and documented for the closeout package. Asphalt restoration was completed by our in-house crew to match existing pavement grades and surface conditions.
