Overview

T&O Underground delivered a turnkey underground fiber build for a rural broadband expansion initiative, covering long-haul trenching, conduit and innerduct installation, fiber blowing, and complete site restoration across agricultural terrain and right-of-way corridors.

The Challenge

Rural deployments present unique logistical challenges — remote access, variable soil conditions, agricultural land coordination, and long production runs that require sustained crew output. Maintaining quality and schedule over extended corridors without local support infrastructure demands a self-sufficient operation.

Our Approach

Our crews operated as a fully self-contained unit, bringing equipment, materials, and supervision to the field. We coordinated directly with landowners and permitting agencies to maintain access and minimize disruption to agricultural operations. Production targets were tracked daily and reported to the client.
